Managing the keys for hundreds of lockers in fitness centres and gyms can be a real headache. Keys get lost, taken home or snap off in the lock. Someone then has to call out a locksmith to repair the cylinder which wastes time and money, and renders the locker unusable until it's fixed.

For triyoga staff, managing locker keys had become problematic and extremely labour intensive. They also wanted to make their members experience the best it could be. This prompted them to search for a lock that looked modern, was simple to operate and secure.
Following a recommendation from a locker manufacturer, triyoga specified the KitLock by Codelocks KL1000 Classic to the designers of the new Shoreditch centre, Aldworth James & Bond.

Using a four-digit code rather than a key to operate and secure the locker, means that triyoga members can simply enter a code, "lock and go". When it's time to leave, the customer enters their code again and the locker opens. The code is then automatically erased, leaving the locker free for the next member. Plus, the KitLock technician code is extremely useful if a member forgets their code, and at the end of the day when the staff need to check that all lockers are emptied.
